We are now a cashless school. You are able to use sQuidcard to pay for school meals, trips and other offers by registering and paying for items online.

Sports Coach

 

Job type: 8.25 – 3.25 pm term time only + training sessions (39 weeks per annum) 74.82% contract.

Details: Grade 7 –£13,704 – 14,919 (actual salary) £18,316 – 19,940 (pro-rata).

Summary: Winstanley Community & Sports College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Sports Coach to work within our Physical Education department. The Physical Education department is a thriving, dynamic team that wholeheartedly values the impact of Physical Education and school sport on the lives and achievements of young people, reflecting the views of the
whole college. Specific duties include supervising classes when teachers are absent and working with small groups of students to raise their achievement and aspirations, through interventions such as targeted support and coaching. The role will also involve working with primary schools to support their PE lessons.

Swimming Teacher

 

Job type: Swimming Teacher required (flex. hours)

Details: Grade 9 point 24 – 27 (£12.00 – £13.27 p/h) plus enhancements

Summary: We are looking to appoint a confident & experienced individual to teach ages 4 and upwards in our newly refurbished swimming pool. Day & eve hours available, Mon – Fri Applicants must hold a level 2 teaching qualification and valid lifesaving qualification, ideally NPLQ (or willing to gain the qualification). We are committed to the safeguarding of children and all posts are subject to enhanced DBS checks.
