Welcome back to Winstanley!
We were thrilled to welcome so many ex-students and staff back to Winstanley yesterday to celebrate our 60th Anniversary year. It was so lovely to hear everyone’s stories and to celebrate 60 years of educating and supporting so many young people.
It was an honour to be joined by the Lord Mayor of Leicester, Cllr George Cole and his consort, who contributed to our celebration by speaking and unveiling our new celebratory plaque.
A BIG THANK YOU to our school musicians for playing so beautifully, Sue Hambleton for putting on such an excellent display of Winstanley memorabilia and to everyone who joined us to celebrate this amazing milestone.
Looking forward to our 70th already!
